How do trials work?
A bridal trial is created for the bride to try the look she has in mind to make sure that there are no surprises on the day of the wedding. The easiest way to ensure I understand your vision is by bringing pictures, ideally from my Instagram page. Be as open as you can during the trial since your I definitely want to achieve a look which YOU are dreaming about. It is a collaborative process. I will take pictures of the finished makeup and hairstyle for references and write notes including what you like or don’t like so that on the wedding you can just sit back and relax. I only do bridal hair and makeup trials in my studio in Gastown, Vancouver. You can read my tips on bridal trial here.
How to book?
Please inquire via the Contact Me page. A 30% non-refundable deposit applies for all bridal and special occasions bookings in order to secure the date. The remaining balance will be due on or before the day of the event.
What happens if my wedding time changes, can you accommodate?
Yes, of course, you simply need to let me know what time you would like to be ready by and I will give you a new time.
What hair accessories do you use?
I use Ulyana Aster accessories. I provide hair accessories rental for my clients.
Do you charge an early morning fee?
Yes, I do. The fee applies if your makeup and hair start time is before 8am.
Are you mobile?
Yes, I am. I offer mobile bridal makeup and hair service with a fee (no fee for Downtown, Vancouver). Parking fees are to be covered by the client if applicable.
Can I request a change of the look?
Yes, you can.
What if I don't meet the minimum booking fee?
Unfortunately, the minimum booking fee of $1000 + travelling fee will still apply. You may use the credit for accessories hire.
How much is your travel fee?
I charge based on kilometrage and time on the road. Please inquire to get a quote. There is no travelling fee for Downtown, Vancouver.
EYEBROWS
What is eyebrow artistry?
Eyebrow artistry includes eyebrow shaping, waxing, tweezing, and tinting. The tint colour is always custom.
What is eyebrow lift?
Eyebrow lift is a technique that helps to achieve a more polished and fuller look. The hairs are placed down to the desired shape to fill in the sparse areas as needed. The effect lasts for 3-4 weeks and can be combined with eyebrow shaping and tinting for the best result. This is not only absolutely safe for your hairs but it actually strengthens hair growth and fulfils them with beneficial components.
