How do trials work?

​

A bridal trial is created for the bride to try the look she has in mind to make sure that there are no surprises on the day of the wedding. The easiest way to ensure I understand your vision is by bringing pictures, ideally from my Instagram page. Be as open as you can during the trial since your I definitely want to achieve a look which YOU are dreaming about. It is a collaborative process. I will take pictures of the finished makeup and hairstyle for references and write notes including what you like or don’t like so that on the wedding you can just sit back and relax. I only do bridal hair and makeup trials in my studio in Gastown, Vancouver. You can read my tips on bridal trial here.

 

How to book?

 

Please inquire via the Contact Me page. A 20% non-refundable deposit applies for all bridal and special occasions bookings in order to secure the date. The remaining balance will be due on or before the day of the event.

 

What happens if my wedding time changes, can you accommodate?

 

I reserve only one wedding per day, allowing me to be fully present with you from the moment I arrive to the final touchups. Your date becomes entirely yours, so the morning feels unhurried and genuinely enjoyable. It also allows me to accommodate any last minute changes if they occur.

 

Do you charge an early morning fee?

 

Yes, I do. The fee applies if your makeup and hair start time is before 9 am. 

 

Are you mobile?

 

Yes, I am. I offer mobile bridal makeup and hair service with a fee (no fee for Downtown, Vancouver). Parking fees are to be covered by the client if applicable.

 

Can I request a change of the look or for you to stay for touchups?

 

Yes, you can.

 

What if I don't meet the minimum booking fee?

 

The minimum booking fee of $1200 will still apply. 

 

How much is your travel fee?

 

I charge based on kilometrage and time on the road. Please inquire to get a quote. Bridal packages cover travel within Vancouver.

 

Do you take formal or special occasion makeup and hair bookings?

 

Yes, I do.
